Controller and scope
This policy covers menivox.com, the Menivox mobile app, customer/professional areas and support. Menivox acts as controller for processing it determines. Privacy contact: privacy@menivox.com. The exact legal entity, company/VAT number and registered office must match the official details published in the legal notice.
Data and purposes
Depending on use, Menivox may process account/contact data, professional venue and team data, menu content, technical/security events, support requests, billing records and device data strictly required by a feature.
Legal bases
Main legal bases are performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in security/support, and consent for optional processing where required. Data is not sold.
Mobile app and permissions
Camera/photos, notifications or location are requested only when a feature needs them and subject to the operating system permission model. Refusing a permission disables only the dependent feature where possible.
Processors and recipients
Recipients are limited to authorised Menivox personnel and necessary hosting, email, infrastructure, store/platform, security and feature providers. OVHcloud is used for website/infrastructure hosting. Other production providers must be contractually assessed and documented.
Apple & Google
Apple and Google operate their stores and may process store, payment, security or diagnostic data under their own terms. Menivox publishes a public privacy policy and deletion resource; store disclosures must exactly match the production build and SDKs.
International transfers
Menivox prioritises EEA processing. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses and, where required, supplementary safeguards are used.
Retention
Account/service data: active relationship plus 30 days, backups up to 90 days; support: 24 months after closure; security logs: up to 12 months; accounting records: up to 10 years where legally required; GDPR requests: up to 3 years after closure.
